Douglas leads the firm’s Financial and Insurance consulting. With over three decades of experience in risk-focused industries, Douglas is a seasoned senior executive with a strong track record in insurance, finance, IT, and corporate advisory. He is also a certified Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) assessor, reflecting his commitment to innovation and industry best practices.
Douglas began his career in the UK financial services sector in 1994 and has since advised a wide range of stakeholders from private companies and banks to government and semi-government institutions, both in the UK and the State of Qatar. His diverse expertise also includes specialist training programs, regulatory examinations, and engagements in differing commercial sectors.
Rashid Al Mohanadi
Managing Director
Rashid  is the Managing Director and a founding Partner at Catalyst Consulting. With extensive experience across government institutions in Qatar, Rashid brings a deep understanding of the Gulf policy landscape and a strong commitment to driving meaningful collaboration between public and private sector entities. Dr. Sharaf Zabadi
Head of Enterprise Intelligence
Dr. Sharaf leads the Enterprise Intelligence function at Catalyst Consulting, bringing over a decade of expertise in business intelligence, data architecture, and digital analytics. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Intelligence and Data Management from the University of Westminster, London (2013), and has applied his knowledge across sectors including higher education, healthcare, finance, and hospitality.
In addition to his professional experience, Dr. Sharaf has a strong academic background, having lectured in software engineering and data management at the University of Westminster in the UK and the University of Bethlehem in Palestine. Dr. Nicolas Giannakopoulos
